KAITLIN JAMES jewellery purchases from our online store (located at www.kaitlinjames.com.au only) come with a 6 month warranty. This warranty is effective from the date of purchase and covers only manufacturing faults and defects in materials. We will offer a repair or replacement once the item has been proven by our team of trained jewellers to be deemed faulty.
This warranty does not cover loss, accidental breakage and general wear and tear. General wear and tear includes tarnishing and fading of plated jewellery, and therefore, is not covered by warranty. Please see our jewellery care page for tips on keeping your KAITLIN JAMES pieces looking their best!
Any repairs requested after the offered 6 month warranty period will incur a fee and are subject to the discretion of our jewellery repairs team. Repairs required after this date are considered a result of general wear and tear and will not be covered under warranty.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims (including gift receipts).
FAULTY ITEMS AND REPAIRS
All jewellery is quality checked by our team of trained jewellers, in addition to our dispatch team. However, from time to time (and because we are human), there may be a rare fault. If you have received a faulty product, we will be happy to offer a replacement if the product was purchased within 6 months. To notify us of the fault, please contact us and include the below information:
- Your order # or proof of purchase details
- Your full name
- A photo of the fault along with a brief description of the issue
Please note that wear and tear during the course of normal use is not considered a fault. Due to the nature of KAITLIN JAMES jewellery and it's delicate finish, each piece should be handled carefully as explained in our jewellery care guide that is available here.
